Boardmember
Mark brings knowledge of and passion for public health to Embraced, and is excited to provide direction to the organization and help it achieve its important mission. He received the Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Florida, the Master of Public Health degree in Health Policy and Management from Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health, and the Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the Georgia State University College of Law. Since 2001, Mark has worked in public health as an attorney in the Office of the General Counsel, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where he has counseled agency management and staff on a wide range of legal issues and handled an interesting array of litigation matters. Mark has lived in Atlanta since 1994, where he resides with his wife and two children.
